Tayroc launches first ever range of unisex fragrances

British lifestyle brand Tayroc celebrate the exciting new launch of the brand’s first ever range of unisex fragrances. Launching in September 2020, the Eau de Parfum fragrances will be available in six intoxicating scents. Encompassing the fruity, to the floral, the spicy to the woody and everything in-between, the 100ml scents, priced at £98.00 will be available online at www.tayroc.com

The scents, named Poise, Quest, Expedition, Journey, Elegance and Style each have their own unique personalities with invigorating notes that capture the essence of nature.

POISE: exudes bursts of tangy grapefruit and rich cedarwood before an earthy warm base of patchouli, orris, pine and amber.

QUEST: has notes of zesty lemon and juicy mandarin on top, this fragrance has a soft floral and aromatic heart before a warm patchouli base.

EXPEDITION: leads with fresh mint. This aromatic fragrance features a heart of lavender and rosemary. The base consists of warm tobacco, sweet vanilla and oud.

JOURNEY: explores a bright fragrance with notes of grapefruit and bergamot, before a bold warm heart of pepper and hemp. Cedarwood and amber are heady base notes.

ELEGANCE: opens with sweet citrus notes before a heart of bold pepper and geranium. Rich patchouli, warm cedar and vetiver complete this scent.

STYLE: Is a refreshing spicy fragrance with notes of grapefruit, mint and cardamom on top. The warm heart of nutmeg, cedar and lavender leads us into a woody base of sandalwood, vetiver and moss.

Primarily known for its stylish and contemporary range of timepieces, fragrance is Tayroc’s first venture into new product categories, under new management.

Vagabond Shoemakers introduce its first shoe in wood

Vagabond Shoemakers proudly presents the iconic sneaker Paul made in a recyclable cherry wood Ligneah material where all components are from vegetable origin. The men’s shoe is part of Vagabond’s Atelier: a forum for innovation and creation, where the company dares itself in the aim of more sustainable production.

This project is a follow up on the successful launch of the rst Atelier project with the non-animal collec- tion. We see each season as a challenge and opportunity and are always inspired by sustainability work.
It is also where we can work with product development outside the company’s general collections”, explains Marie Nilsson Peterzén, co-founder and creative director at Vagabond Shoemakers.

For Vagabond producing non-animal options is an important step towards less strain on the eco-system. However, they won’t stop there. Technical innovation and the development of materials that are not only non-animal, but also more environmentally friendly, are now made available for shoes. In the manufacturing process, thin sheets of wood are attached to a cotton base, using a technique where resistance and durability is assured. To make the wood material soft and “leather-like”, the surface is then
micro laser etched.

Vagabond launches its first UK Concept Store

Swedish Shoe brand Vagabond launched its first London concept store within the Bentall Centre in the Royal Borough of Kingston-upon-Thames.

Situated on the 1st Floor of the Bentall Centre, the new concept store presents Vagabond’s brand vision, previewing the full Spring/Summer 2017 fashion footwear and accessories collections for Men and Women. The London establishment is a welcome addition to the Vagabond Stores lo-cated in selected cities all over Europe.

Bringing Vagabond’s synonymous Scandinavian style and contemporary design to the UK, the store is central in extending the brands European retail strategy within their key markets. Vag- abond can currently be found in more than 2,500 doors across more than 30 markets and still growing.

“Our concept stores in Stockholm, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Berlin and Moscow, just to mention a few, are all 100% Vagabond ambiance and supports the independent multi-brand doors in both Europe and North America” says Anna Fahle Björcke, Brand Manager at Vagabond in Sweden.

The Kingston store will be filled with new range for spring/summer 2017. Flat shapes and forms take the main stage for the women’s collection. Inspired by the idea of at-home lounging, the new designs combine effortless style with lush comfort. Key styles include mules, slip-ins and the new Moroccan ‘babouche’ shape that can be worn with the heel folded down like a slipper.

Jo Reynolds had her sights on becoming a fashion designer when she was accepted as a student at the prestigious London College of Fashion way back in the 90s. But when the opportunity arose to study fashion journalism and promotion, Jo took a detour and grasped the opening with both hands. Two decades later and after years of working for PR agencies, Jo is still thrilled with her choice after finally launching her business Jo Reynolds PR.
